Proyect: REDES DE ESPAÑA
The aim is to create a certification for the management of fishing nets and gear that have reached the end of their useful life. In addition, circularity solutions will be sought through the design of new materials derived from nets and gear for the automotive, naval and aeronautical industries, among others. Awareness will also be raised about the problems of marine pollution, the care of marine habitats and the circular economy.
The expected outcomes are the validation of the certification developed, the promotion of the creation of new recycled materials, thereby reducing pollution, and the implementation of circular economy practices as an example to follow.
Consortium: Confederación Española de Pesca (CEPESCA) (Coordinator), Federación Nacional de Cofradías de Pescadores (FNCP), Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia (CTAG).
