R&D in lighting
The CTAG Lighting Laboratory is one of the most advanced in Europe for the measurement and technical validation of lighting systems for the automotive, rail and other industrial sectors.
We have specialist facilities for testing large and heavy assemblies, as well as for characterising key parameters such as light distribution, colorimetry, luminance, flicker, light animations and light patterns, from the design stage through to final verification.
It is the first and only laboratory in Spain to have a GO-A goniophotometer.
We carry out R&D&I testing and comply with the main European ECE standards (148, 149 and 150) and the most widely used American SAE standards for lighting and signalling functions, providing traceable results geared towards compliance and engineering decisions.
A new type of goniophotometer patented by LMT. We are the second laboratory in Europe to adopt this technology and one of only three centres to have this equipment.
