Materials Innovation

Highly qualified team of researchers and a laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology

CTAG's Materials Innovation area has extensive experience in research projects. It has become the ideal link between the scientific community and industry, offering its results to the market.

  • Research and innovation projects.
  • Development of new processes and products.
  • Consultancy on materials, sustainability, thermal comfort and smart surfaces.
  • Assessment of eco-design and circular economy.
  • Testing of concept, prototyping and mock-ups.
  • New validation procedures.

Furthermore, at CTAG we have anthropomorphic manikins designed to accurately replicate human behaviour in a variety of scenarios. In addition to their realistic geometry, these manikins enable us to analyse thermal and acoustic phenomena under controlled conditions.

ANDI

It simulates both the shape and the thermal response of the human body, adjusting the temperature of each part according to the metabolic activity it is designed to replicate.

HATS

Designed to assess acoustic performance from a human perspective, providing more representative and reliable measurements.
