ARCHITECTURE, SYSTEM, SW AND HARDWARE
CTAG has E/E systems development teams that follow the processes defined by Automotive SPICE in its V development model, with the aim of guaranteeing the standards established by the automotive sector:
- System architecture: Specification of requirements and design of the system architecture. Competence in different EE architectures, development and communications environments.
- Embedded Sw: Requirements specification, architecture design, detailed design and coding. Skills in AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive), integrated Sw project management, communications, operating systems, bootloaders and diagnostics.
- HW Design and Architecture. Requirements specification and architecture design. Skills in schematic/PCB design, component selection, DFMEA, metrics and WCCA. In addition, competences in HW design verification including simulation (layout review, power and signal integrity, capacitive sensors and EMC).
FUNCTIONAL SAFETY
CTAG has been successfully working on development and quality for years. We work with clients from all automotive sectors, guiding them through continuous change, collaboratively addressing the establishment of standards and regulatory requirements, such as functional safety, ASPICE® or cyber security.

CYBERSECURITY
CTAG’s Automotive Cybersecurity Department was created in 2019 in order to address the problem of cybersecurity in connected and autonomous vehicles. It currently covers all phases of the automotive product development life cycle, offering the following cybersecurity consulting and engineering services to our clients, which include:
- Support on the way towards R155 and the implementation of ISO/SAE 21434 processes.
- Identification of the assets to be protected and their potential threats, discovering their vulnerabilities and designing the necessary mitigations in terms of requirements to reduce or eliminate their impact.
- Development and implementation of products based on client's cybersecurity requirements or carrying out the entire conception phase, including TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment), performing V&V Cybersecurity tests and pentesting on individual ECUs and/or at vehicle level.
ELECTRONIC VALIDATION
We have electrical, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and Hardware in the Loop (HiL) test laboratories, where we carry out the following services:
- Validation plan definition
- Development of validation tools
- Test preparation and execution
- Test automation
- Data analysis and reporting
