Booster Manufacturing Lab
At CTAG, we innovate with a view to the factory of the future, a people-centred factory that will seek to improve efficiency, productivity and profits, and will pass on its values to society.
To this end, we have set up the Booster Manufacturing Lab, a laboratory for the research, development and acceleration of new industrialisation and digitalisation technologies, using the most advanced techniques.
Digital Twin and Smart Factory
We transform the numerous data extracted from production processes into visual and practical information for decision-making.
To this end, at CTAG we have been developing applications with the most advanced technologies for more than 10 years, such as Big Data tools or 5G solutions for the detection of weaknesses and the optimisation of processes.
The incorporation of the Digital Twin in the day-to-day running of the factory is also being investigated to improve decision-making in real time. CTAG has specific equipment to study the interaction between the real and virtual worlds.
Advanced Factories and Circular Economy
We help companies to manufacture products that are increasingly personalised and tailored to their customers.
We develop solutions through collaborative robotics, providing greater flexibility and automation to manufacturing processes. We also work to achieve more precise, tighter and space-efficient logistics processes. In addition, we develop automated quality control systems to improve product quality. Our laboratories are equipped with tools for the development of automated industrial prototypes, supported by simulation tools models with the aim of optimising productivity in the processes.

CTAG introduces the Circular Economy in its processes through a more sustainable production, based on new business models, optimising the use of resources and avoiding environmentally unfriendly or obsolete models. We have developed a collaborative network with the aim of promoting the less developed regions of Europe, through a new model in which we can all compete with other world powers on equal terms.
Industry 5.0
We work on the integration of technologies focused on people (Human Centric) and their communication with the factory of the future.
The use of IoT devices helps to perform tasks in a more efficient way: on the one hand, we study the use of cognitive assistance systems to improve the flow of information and help the person to reduce errors. On the other hand, we study the incorporation of physical assistance systems (exoskeletons), which help to perform most physical jobs, reducing fatigue and improving workers' health.
