"BuildSafe – Advancing Worker Safety and Training with AI and XR Technologies", is an innovation project aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of the construction sector.
Construction remains one of the industries with the highest exposure to physical risks and demanding working conditions. BuildSafe aims to address these challenges by combining Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), and IoT technologies to improve worker safety, ergonomic assessment, and immersive training.
During the project, the consortium will work on:
- AI-based ergonomic monitoring to detect risk situations in real time.
- XR-based training solutions adapted to construction environments.
- IoT technologies to support healthier and safer workplaces.
- Validation of the developed solutions in real construction sites.
The consortium comprises CTAG – Automotive Technology Centre os Galicia (project leader), OVEUN and SM CRIS Construction (Romania).
