The Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia has been awarded with the Entrepreneurial Initiative Award of the Galician Professional Association of Computer Engineering (CPEIG), in the framework of the XVII Night of Computer Engineering, held on 27 June in Santiago de Compostela.
This award recognises CTAG’s trayectory as a R&D benchmark applied to the automotive industry and the mobility of the future, as well as its contribution to the development of technological solutions that drive the digitalisation of the sector and strengthen the industry competitiveness.
In its more than 20 years of history, CTAG has worked on key projects to advance towards more connected, autonomous, safety and sustainable mobility. Today, it employs more than 1.000 professionals and has a solid experience in areas such as automated driving, electrification, cibersecurity, new materials or digital twins.
Esteban Martínez, ICT and Opertations Director at CTAG, was the person in charge of collecting the award at an event that brought together ICT professionals, companies and institutions from all over Galicia.
