CTAG joins the ‘Network of cybersecurity laboratories and demonstration centres’ for research and innovation in security solutions. A project promoted and led by the Axencia para a Modernización Tecnolóxica de Galicia (AMTEGA) in the framework of the RETECH project (Territorial Networks of Technological Specialisation), which is promoted at national level by the National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE) and in which, in addition to Galicia, Catalonia and the Valencian Community participate.
The agreement will create a network of laboratories that will serve as testing grounds and training environments.
In particular, CTAG is responsible for the implementation of one of the laboratories, which will focus on cybersecurity in the automotive field, deploying the necessary capabilities for its validation in autonomous and connected vehicle.
CTAG aims to:
- The creation of a cybersecurity and ethical hacking laboratory.
- Expansion of cybersecurity capabilities in the V&V (Validation and Verification) cybersecutiry laboratory.
- Expansion of cybersecurity capabilities in the ITS test infrastructures.
- Promotion of cybersecurity culture and talent.
- The development of the security of an in-house V2X unit.
In the framework of the Laboratory Network, CTAG collaborates with the Galician Technological Institute (ITG), the University of Vigo (UVigo), and the Galician Telecommunications Technological Centre (Gradiant).
The initiative is funded by the European Union NextGeneration-EU, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and INCIBE.
