The Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia (CTAG) will participate in Advanced Factories 2025, the leading international event in industrial automation and digitalisation, to be held in Barcelona from 8 to 10 April. On this occasion, CTAG will present its advances in industrial productivity thanks to digitalisation and the adoption of new technologies.
The Digital Twin is a tool promoted by CTAG that allows the value chain to be visualised in real time and improves decision-making with the support of artificial intelligence. From logistics management to plant maintenance, this technology optimises operational efficiency and facilitates the manufacture of shorter, more specialised series. In this context, CTAG leads the Digital Twin Working Group within ADRA, a leading group in Europe for the development of digital twin strategies.
During the event, we will lead the panel discussion ‘Plant control towers: The beginning of a major change’ with Víctor Alonso, Director of the Digital Manufacturing and Transformation Division at CTAG, where they will discuss how energy control towers work and how to integrate them into current systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs and achieve sustainability goals.
