SALIENT – Novel Concepts for Safer, Lighter, Circular and Smarter Vehicle Structure Design for Enhanced Crashworthiness and Higher Compatibility

Objective: SALIENT will focus on innovation of new technologies and will develop, demonstrate and validate the effectiveness of the lightweight front-end structure (FES), taking into account the principles of eco-design and circular economy, to improve safety.
The consortium, coordinated by CTAG, is made up of 12 partners from 7 different countries, representing the entire automotive value chain.

RECOTRANS – Integrated manufacturing of REciclable hybrid metalthermoplastic COmposites for the TRANSport sector

Objective: RECOTRANS aimed to create a new manufacturing system for the production of multi-material metal composites suitable for the transport industry; automotive, truck and rail.
Consortium: Coordinated by AIMPLAS with the participation of 17 entities: Stadler Rail Valencia SAU, Autotech Engineering, Mercedes-Benz, Arkema France, INEA Informatizacija Energetika Avtomatizacija Doo, etc.

DECOAT – Recycling of coated and painted textile and plastic materials

Objective: DECOAT aims to enable the circular use of textiles and plastic parts with (multilayer) “coatings”, which are generally not yet recyclable. It comprises functional and high-performance coatings and paints, as well as adhesion layers.
